Welcome to 10 Trees.

Hello and welcome to 10 Trees community garden! Since April, we've been quietly gardening away - planting a new kitchen garden, exploring the meadows, orchard and copses, and getting to know the rhythms of the land.

Now we're thrilled to open the garden gates and invite you to help us co-create this new garden in community, for community.

First off, come explore the garden.

Our opening weekend is Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September. Join us for a weekend of plants, community and celebration:

Saturday 27th September, 12-4pm: Love What You Grow: find out more about growing from seed to plate and the new community collaborating to grow better food in the valley.

Sunday 28th September, 12-4pm: Apple Day: celebrate the apple harvest, explore the garden, and gather in community, with folk music and food from the garden.

For those of you who want to get more involved.

From October there will be weekly wild tending sessions for the community. We’ll be in the kitchen garden, growing and harvesting, on Wednesdays 10am-1pm, and tending the wilder areas of the garden on Fridays 10am-1pm. We will let you know our start dates soon.

What next?

As the community grows, we’ll be offering more opportunities to gather in the garden. Some days, exchanges and events will be curated by us, for you. Other days the community will come together to gather in the harvest, tend to the wild spaces or work together on bigger projects like a polytunnel. And then some days the garden space will be there for you just to ‘be’, alongside each other and this precious world. Thank you for being part of this growing community.
